Foundation is laid like any other foundation.

Concrete Cinder Blocks were used to hoist the house above sea level and flood level.

The SIPs truck arrives.  SIPs come pre-cut and measured for each home.

Close up view of the Structured Insulated Panel.  Holes run through the inner foam to allow wires to be spread through the house.  (Notice the thickness of the foam.  SIP Panels come in different widths.        ( 3", 6" or 12")

The walls are put together on the foundation like any other house.  However with SIPs, there is little waste left over.  It takes two men minutes to assemble a wall like the one pictured.
An exterior wall photo from the inside.  Stick frames are used to create inner walls since they do not need to be insulated from outside weather.
SIPs are able to duplicate any shape or form that stick framing can do, such as arcs.

Since SIPs are heavy to lift, a crane is used to lift the larger loads to the second or third floor.
Here a crane lifts the panel to a worker awaiting on the roof.  By the time this panel is installed, another panel will be lifted and ready to be installed.  It is a quick process.
A panel awaits assembly on the roof.
The worker here is connecting the roof panels together.  A quick process, yet this process is responsible for lower electrical bills and large savings all year round.
The crane lifts its final piece.
With the exterior walls completed.  Workers now move to finishing the interior of the house.  Most houses are completed within two to three days.  Workers will add windows, doors, cabinets and other features to make this house complete.  The holes are already cut for all doors and windows, and the process will move much smoother due to that..
Looks like any other house when the workers are done constructing the SIPs.  However, this house is now energy efficient, and the owner will save large amounts of money yearly due to this fact.
